The Mommy Club: Share Your Resources and Solutions #36

Sharing is caring!

Spring Break week did not stop us from sharing our awesome mom ideas! If you missed last weeks party it is not too late to take a peek at the  109 ideas that were shared. I am certain you’ll find something useful.

Here are the top five clicked ideas from last week.

  1. Always Learning share more excellent mommy insight with us.   She has raised four children, one of which was a very strong willed child. Lori shares her personal suggestions as well as scripture.
  2. Hammock Tracks shared a tasty cinnamon swirl bread recipe. Looks amazing and like something my kids would love. (Luke loves cinnamon swirl coffee cake.)
  3. 3 Boys and a Dog has some great resources for getting into shape. Her solution list includes 51 fast fat burners. For real.
  4. Zombie Mommy Saves shares a frugal black bean meal that her children love. No wait, she said they INHALE it. The recipe includes rice too… sounds like something my family would love!
  5. Kids Activities Blog shows us how to make a Lego rainbow. This activity teaches great sorting, organizing and grouping  skills that are perfect for young learners.

You’ll also want to check out Shannon’s favorite three picks over at Milk and Cuddles. Remember, anything you link up is seen on Milk and Cuddles as well as Crystal & Co.

  1. I was sick last week, and missed the wonderful posts that you’re featuring today. I think I need to start a Lego board on Pinterest. The kids are good about coming up with stuff, and sometimes it helps to give them some inspiration.

    1. Barb- a Lego board on Pinterest is super smart.
We love Pinterest… and my kids love Legos. 🙂
      Thanks for always linking up.

  2. Thanks for hosting! 🙂

  3. This week I’m sharing my latest REAL FOOD 101 post about how to make whey and \”cream cheese\” from dripped yogurt. So multi-purpose!

Second, I have a dual recipe for my tried and true pie crusts. I make an excellent sprouted flour version, but while I was on GAPS I also honed my favorite GAPS-legal one using coconut flour.

I’m also giving my recipe for the best breakfast I have had in a while: Chocolate Chip Buttermilk Waffles with Blackberry Sauce. Oh my, these nearly put me in a food coma this morning, and then about an hour later I was burning with energy. Yum 🙂

  5. As a followup to my post on the dangers of water fluoridation, I’ve posted a new recipe for homemade toothpaste–fluoride free, of course.

    Thanks for hosting!

    1. Dawn- I have read that fluoride in the water causes tummy aches. We live in the city right outside of Dallas. There is fluoride in our water. It explains so much as many of my kids have tummy issues with undetermined diagnosis. Ugh!
