Sometimes, it is our children that help keep life in perspective.
The simple things they remind us to enjoy about life.
Nicky is a thinker.
He is logical and analytical.
He is a very simple guy- the complete opposite of his twin brother.
Makes life fun.
This morning Nicky says, ‘Daddy, did you know it is a beautiful day today?’.
‘And, did you know the birds are singing, Daddy?’
‘Even the birds far away, even if we cannot hear them.’
That, my friend, is perspective.
We have a beautiful 75 degree afternoon ahead of us here in Texas.
Mid-January, no less.
We’re going to the park. To hear birds sing.
I hope you’ll do the same.
