Simply Sugar and Gluten-Free Cookbook (giveaway)

I am really excited to share this gorgeous cookbook with you today. It is written by Amy Green, who is the author of the local Dallas blog Simply Sugar and Gluten-Free.

Her site shares an endless amount of recipes that are healthier, and as the title suggests,  gluten-free and refined sugar free, yet still fabulous and delicious.

On her site, Amy shares her story of becoming an expert dieter, trying every program on the market to lose weight. In the late 90′s she shared that she was over 180 pounds. Here she gives a snippet of her experience with yet another diet.

It did, for a while. Once I hit the three week mark, I started eating the other meals and I was back where I started, eating too much, eating at the wrong times, having huge, uncontrollable food cravings. I gave in. I always did. I didn’t have the awareness then, but all of the \”Fat Flush\” recipes were free of sugar, flour, and gluten.

After years and yo-yo dieting, Amy found a way to create her own recipes that were made from non-refined sugars and gluten-free. It has become a way of life for her. And if you see her progression of before and after pictures on her site, it will likely make you stop and think about the foods you eat and how it is effecting your body.

The cookbook contains over 180 recipes you can make in 20 minutes or less. Each recipe includes a \”Quick Tip\” and many recipes contain options for making recipes dairy-free. This cookbook certainly is a mommy solution.

In this cookbook there are:

I have just started to go gluten free. I’ve been doing a lot of research about it and I’m convinced that the wheat we are eating now is NOT the same wheat that our grandmothers made bread with. It’s causing a lot of problems. My family is slowly phasing it out and I’ve been trying to learn as much as I can about what to eat and what not to eat so this cookbook would be PERFECT. Thanks!

I would love to win this cookbook. My son has a wheat allergy and we try to limit most wheat from our diet, but it is not always easy especially when it comes to treats. Finding tasty recipes that are wheat free are hard. I also like the fact that they are refined sugar free. We do our best to stay clear of refined sugar as that stuff is as bad as crack. Thanks for the chance to win.

I would love this cookbook bc thankfully thru good example of my husband and myself choosing to eat sugar free a little over a year now my young adult daughters 19 and 22 have begun to do the same, only even more strictly even than my husband and myself and they are frustrated with HOW MANY of the majority of products in the store have at least some sugar or form of sugar in them so the 19 yr old is now cooking from scratch to make sure they have sugar free meals and this cookbook would be a perfect gift to encourage her and let her know how proud of them we are and that we are so grateful they are taking tlc of their precious selves
