Check out TLC Woodcrafters. Owned by a husband and wife, they have been making customized handmade crafts for children since 1962.

I love this name puzzle they sent Matthew. The letters fit perfectly in their place. They are brightly colored and very sturdy. Playing with his name puzzle kept him very busy. I love when my kids prefer toys that encourage their busy minds to work and involve hand and eye coordination.   I think sometimes we overlook the simplicity a great puzzle can bring.

We love the little character frog on the end of this puzzle as well. TLC Woodcrafters has a long list of characters you can add to your puzzle- both girly and boyish.

This Smurf puzzle is super fun. They added Nick’s name to it (Nick LOVES puzzles). The Smurfs look just like the ones from the 80’s cartoon and this summer’s blockbuster hit.

While Nick loves the ingenuity of assembling a puzzle, Luke loves to join in on the fun by being creative with character play.
