Halloween Witchy Fingers

You loved the Ghost Halloween Treats last week didn’t you? These are just as much fun and super simple! A salty and sweet treat that is super yummy!
You need:
  • pretzel rods
  • green chocolate wafers (Wilton has a Spooky Green for Halloween)
  • sliced almonds
  • pretzel bags
  • ribbon for tying (you can use the twist ties that come with the bags, but I like to spruce it up)
  • scissors (for cutting and curling the ribbon)
  • double boiler (for melting chocolate)
  • cookie sheet covered in foil, wax paper or parchment paper
 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Melt your green chocolate wafers in a double boiler over a medium heat. (If the heat is too hot  your chocolate will get hard during the melting process.)
Dip and twirl three fourths of your pretzel rod in the melted chocolate. Use a rubber spatula to help coat the pretzel if need be.

Lay the pretzels flat on a cookie sheet covered in foil, wax paper or parchment paper.
Add one sliced almond to the top tip of each pretzel.
Let them cool 100% before removing them from the cookie sheet- about an hour.
Pretty, hua?
Once 100% cooled, place the witchy finger in one of the pretzel bags.
Seal with the ties that come with the bags or spruce it up a bit with festive ribbon.
If you’re giving them as party favors you can easily add a piece of card stock, hole punched and stamped with a message, when adding the ribbon.
Are these awesome or what?
Perfect to give as party favors at a Halloween party, Halloween-time birthday party or as favors for your child’s school fall  party.

Hey! You were above me in the SITS Saturday Sharefest. I have twins too! (But I blog about modest SAHM fashion so I'm not in the Spotted Leopard tribe.) We're all girls here though, except the husband. Our first was 9 months old when we found out we were having twins and they're only 17 months apart. The twins will be 2 in January. Hectic doesn't begin to describe it so I can totally empathize with you.
The pretzel sticks are great!

Where do you buy the Pretzel Rods from?? I am curious to know if Walmart or which stores sell them.

I found them at Target. I am sure Walmart or most local grocers carry them.
