Weekly Meal Plan 37

Sharing is caring!

Here is to a simple week! And have you signed up for my Green giveaway? Nine servings of fruits and veggies? Check out the link at the end of this meal plan!

Cheesy Chicken Skillet– this is a family favorite. I think I call it something different eveytime I list it on my meal plan. It is from the Kraft website. One skillet meal… so good!

Ciabatta Turkey Swiss Sandwiches– with chips and fruit. No recipe- just rolls, meat and cheese…

Pizza Wheels– these look like so much fun! The twins are gonna love ’em. Served with fruit.

Crockpot Asian Fried Rice using leftover chicken from dinner weeks ago that is in the freezer.

Leftover Buffet– use ’em up!

Corn Dogs

Mac and Cheese (from a box… I made homemade mac and cheese last week for lunch and I need to read up on techniques for making a good roux. Any pointers? I cook it on low’ish but it never looks Alfredo-y…. it always turns the color of brown sugar which does not make for pretty mac and cheese.)

Hard boiled eggs and turkey slices

Meatballs

Lunchables

For sides we have lots of fresh fruit- strawberries, apples, grapes, watermelon and cantaloupe. We also have celery and peanut butter, carrots,  as well as  frozen yogurt tubes.

Homemade Oatmeal with granola mixed in (is that redundant? but you know what I mean…)

Cinnamon rolls

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Cereal bars and fruit

Eggs and toast

Popcorn on the stove
Chips and dip

Cold cereal– I am such a bad mother!

Apple sauce and string cheese

Don’t forget I have an awesome giveaway on my blog right now! A bottle of ItWorks Greens valued at $44! One glass is the equivalent of 9 servings of fruits and veggies. For real! You add it to a glass of orange juice- it does not change the taste of the juice at all!

I'm loving those pizza wheels. I'm thinking my twins would love those too.

I have a GREAT homemade Mac-n-cheese recipe for the crockpot. It is SOO yummy and creamy and the proper color LOL. I'll dig it out for ya!

  4. Jacki- meal planning for one can be hard! Last week Org Junkie put together an awesome meal plan just for her as her children and hubby are away. Here is a link to the meal plan:http://orgjunkie.com/2010/07/menu-plan-monday-july-5th.html.

What about grilling some chicken and fish and then storing them in the fridge and use them for salads or individual pasta dished through out the week.

Mom (Sue)- you are so crazy! Good luck trying to win the Greens.

Erim- crockpot mac and cheese! Are you serious!?! I've gotta try it. Send it my way..

Check out the skillet mac&cheese from melskitchencafe.com – I've made it before and it is very tasty. I think it looks good too, although I used whole wheat macaroni so that kind of ruined the effect.
