So, You’re Having Twins… Baby Swings

Sharing is caring!

Crystal & Co - Twins

When the twins were babies we did not have room for two full size swings, two bouncy seats, two excersaucers…. you get the idea. We registered for one of each when it came to the big stuff. (And it was plentiful!)
The thought to register for a travel swing (or take along swing) never crossed my mind. But, someone kindly purchased one for us as a gift. I had no idea the power and resourcefulness of this very gift!

We had all of our big baby equipment in the living room- it was like an amusement park. They would go from one item to the next like musical chairs. With one swing being full size and one swing being a travel size, we were able to have a swing for each baby without taking up all of our living room space.

But, the even better part… it made traveling a cinch!

No matter if you are going to a friends house that just lives down the street, or a trip out of town, when you have twins you need to take equipment along with you. With one baby people are very willing to hold him/her…. two babies, not always the case. You are going to need handy equipment that travels easily that allows you to have an extra pair of hands. The travel swing will be your very best friend! (It also folds up and unfolds back to it’s original position with ease!)

When we traveled I always grabbed the travel swing and the bouncy seat. If need be, the travel swing and bouncy seat can each also serve as the place to feed your little one’s as well when traveling. It is like another pair of hands!

Not only are you saving space but they are just so practical!

Pregnant with twins? Register for one full size swing and one travel swing!

Great advice! We too had one regular size and one travel size swing! Gosh…I do not miss those days of the living room filled with baby equipment. LOL

    That's so cute! Personally I'd just get 2 travel swings… or 7. 🙂

  3. Oh, this is so true. There have been so many times I have taken a swing or a bouncer somewhere, even just outside. I can hold one and then switch them so one is playing and one is being held. Great post!

  4. Thanks ladies for stopping by and reading my twin posts!

I tell ya, the travel swing was totally a life saver when the twins were little. I think everyone should have one!
