Weekly Meal Plan 20

Sharing is caring!

Last week was a crazy week… so I missed out on meal planning. Started off with a plan, but life was just very chaotic with a political campaign (Lenny), birthday (Anthony) and meal planning went out the window!

So, here is to this week. Cheers.

Here are the breakfast choices for the week for big kids and the twins.

For the record, Garrett and Anthony are up well before the twins get up to start their day. The twins are usually not up and at ’em until I get back from taking big kids to school. No worries, Lenny stays home with the twins and does not leave to get his day started until I am done with my morning run.

Essentially, breakfast is served twice a day in my house.

Egg bacon and cheese hot pockets

Scrambled eggs in flour tortillas

Nutella and Toast- totally the default breakfast!

Instant Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal

Fruit Loops (Target brand of course)

Granolla bars and yogurt

Garrett and Anthony take their lunch to school:

Turkey and mustard on a hoagie (this is their newest addiction) or their traditional Nutella and peanut butter sandwich.

Ranch chips (like Doritos, but I buy Target brand)

Apple or banana

bottled water with those little packets for flavoring

The twins and I will eat:

Mac and Cheese

Peanut butter and jelly

Corny dogs

Homemade pepperoni pizza

We have grapes, bananas, apples and sliced watermelon for fruit choices. I also have celery and carrots we can dip in ranch.

We have a snack once we get home from the after school pick up rush. Here are the choices:

HG Taco Dip– Have you noticed I am just as compulsive about this stuff as my big boys are about Nutella? I could eat it every day! We eat it with tortilla chips.

Multigrain Wheat Thins /Target brand goldfish/string cheese.

Pizza Rolls– company favorite afternoon snack!

Homemade popcorn on the stove. Yum! Reminds me of being a kid!

Baked tator tots with sliced cheddar cheese on top.

Breaded Cubed Steaks with boxes scalloped potatoes and steamed asparagus

Grilled Ham and Cheese with canned chicken noodle soup- I am really excited to make these. I’ve never had a grilled cheese with cheese on the outside nor have I had it with ham on the inside.

Crockpot Asian Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken served with fortune cookies (store bought from a box).

Garlic Drumsticks (I am using chicken quarters) with green beans and french bread.

Chicken and Black Bean Quesadillas– using leftover chicken from a few weeks back that I stuck in the freezer. Here is what you do.

1 can black beans drained (you can rinse them too if you want).
1 can of corn drained
1 can black sliced olives
1 can rotel undrained

Mix all of the above. Shred your chicken. Fold a tortilla in half and fill it with bean and chicken mixture and shredded cheese. Using a griddle, grill on both sides until cheese is fully melted and inside is thoroughly heated. Super easy!
